Similar to toys, market access legislation also comes in a variety of shapes, sizes, and colours. Different trade deals and import requirements around the world affect how our members can reach their consumers worldwide.
Our members stand for free trade for safe toys. If our toys comply with the strictest toy safety requirements in the world, ie the EU requirements, then they should be able to be traded all around the world.
Increasingly, barriers to trade are becoming a problem within the EU where we see well-meant national policies in effect causing the breaking up of the Single Market.
