In a letter to Commissioner Vestager, TIE has joined with six associations to voice concerns about the negative impact of EU plans to reform the current block exemption on dual distribution. The group – which represents a range of consumer goods associations – highlight that removing the exemption “would have serious adverse consequences for the competitiveness of the European industry and markets, both digital and physical, which in turn would negatively impact consumers.”
