Benefits of membership

"The TIE Team makes sure that we are informed very early and fully about EU policy and safety developments that will have an impact on Ravensburger’s business and products, so that Ravensburger can take the right decisions and improvements in a timely manner."

Uwe Stuetzle, Director Global Quality Management, Ravensburger

"As a national toy association, we appreciate the work of the TIE to share knowledge and best practice on all relevant issues.  It is an important membership for us: many of the Spanish rules affecting the toy sector originate in Brussels and together with TIE we can ensure the interests of our members are properly represented. It is a good cooperation."

José Antonio Pastor, Director, AEFJ - Asociación Española de Fabricantes de Juguetes

"At TIE, toy companies find common ground and we have a good collaboration. But there is also healthy competition within the sector with the Play for Change Awards. The Awards motivate and inspire toy companies to continue bringing positive change in society."

Albert Vallejo, Head of Government Affairs | Mattel - Europe, Middle East and Africa

"TIE gives us a platform where we connect with colleagues, we discuss about common concerns, and share ideas and best practices. These exchanges are always fruitful."

Katrien Sobry, Product Safety & Compliance Director at Globetrade

Full TIE membership is open to both national trade associations of European Union Member States, European Union applicant states, European Economic Area Member States, Switzerland and the UK and companies with a registered office in Europe, whose activities cover the manufacture, development, marketing and selling of toys, games and related products. We also have an affiliate membership for companies or organisations with a keen interest in toys.
